“Terrin Finch: Psychic Investigator”
TF:PI is an early concept for a 2D point-and-click style puzzle game which follows two detectives as they investigate the mysterious disappearance of a local researcher in this odd yet charming fantasy world.
This project is currently on pause, but the demo is still available to try on itch.io if you’re interested in giving it a look!
(It’s not a full demo in its current state, and it’s certainly not without its bugs, but I still think it’s nice to be able to walk around in this world and interact with it!)
I worked on every aspect of this game demo myself, from the preproduction and planning, to the writing, designing the puzzles, drawing every single background and asset you see in the game, and then putting all of it together!
Exploring this game concept was my thesis project in college, and the resulting demo was my first ever attempt at something of this nature. I had never touched a game engine in my life before embarking on this fast-paced endeavor, and I had a lot of fun figuring it out!
This project is very much a wonky, buggy work in progress, but I’d love to delve further into this someday when I can actually give it my full attention.

(It’s worth noting that the sketchbook for this project was stolen (along with an entire backpack) when I was travelling, so most of the preproduction sketches are sadly either lost forever or not well photographed.)
