Though the imagery may be violent, my interpretation of this year’s theme and the intent behind my design comes from a defiantly positive place.

I find that Heaven and Hell are both places on earth at times. In order to enjoy those heavenly moments, one must also be able to go forth and slay thy demons! Whatever shape they may take, a battle against one’s demons in order to protect a little slice of heaven is always worth the effort. Whatever you’re facing, the power is within you to emerge from Hell victorious. Don’t give up, brave hero! The fight is not lost!
